Ideas for what to do

I seem to recall several people lived in Milton Keynes. Maybe this would be a good place to meet for a chat? The Perl Mongers and Linux User Group already meet together monthly: Python people would be very welcome to join us for casual discussion about software development, open source and various other things.

Since many of us seem affiliated with LUGs, perhaps we could hold some kind of tutorials and training sessions in order to increase Python awareness, and advocacy in the local Linux community.

I live in Northampton, which is nice and close to MK. :-) Michael Foord

Hi,guys.I live in Spalding (close to Peterborough).I am not a 'professional' developer, but have always been interested in computers and programming.I am fairly proficient in linux and have starting getting to grips with Python.I thoroughly enjoyed PyconUK and am looking forward to it next year.Thankfully, due to the conference I have got to know of this group and am looking forward to joining the meetings.Any further information on the group would be welcome.I can be contacted on <boykie.mackay@gmail.com> .Cheers ;-)
